Pamela S. Bond, 68, Madrid

MADRID -- Pamela S. Bond, 68, of Madrid died on Friday, March 8, 2024, at her home.

She was under the care of Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no public calling hours or funeral services.

Arrangements are under the direction of Frary Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Ogdensburg.

Pamela Bond was born on December 30th, 1955, in Springfield, Ohio. She was the daughter of Franklin and Almira (Morris) Ewing.

She was a 1973 graduate of Madrid-Waddington Central School. She furthered her education at SUNY Canton, earning her associates degree.

She worked for many years at SUNY Canton as a tutor.

On November 17, 1972, she married Frederick Bond in Potsdam.

She loved wildlife, watching birds and deer, cooking, traveling, visiting friends and going to concerts.

She is survived by her sons; Richard “Rick” Bond of Madrid and James Bond of Madrid. Her brothers; Donald Ewing and his wife, Sandra, Robert Ewing and his wife, Sue Grayson of Stanford, CT and Mark Morris and his wife, Lisa of Mount Morris also survive her.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Bond.
