Chanting "Free Palestine" and "Israel You Can't Hide, You're Committing Genocide ," more than 60 students and area residents participated in a "Stop the Genocide" rally for Palestine Sunday afternoon in Potsdam.
The event started in front of Satterlee Hall at SUNY Potsdam. Protesters then marched down Pierrepont Avene to the Potsdam Post Office on Elm Street when they conducted the rally.
They chanted "Israel What Do You Say, How Many Kids Did You Kill Today" and "Cease Fire Now."
At campus protests across the country, students' demands range from a ceasefire in Israel's war with Hamas to calls for universities to stop investing in Israeli enterprises involved with the country's military to an end for U.S. military assistance for Israel, according to Reuters.
