Are there any other parents besides me, who are concerned about our kids’ education? We keep hearing our schools need to merge to keep operating, because they’re running out of money. How the heck does that happen anyways? Classes being cut, classes getting bigger, I have to wonder how the quality of teaching will be, and if my school taxes keep going up, why is there no money? Are we being squeezed out of the North Country to just give our kids a better education?? Jobs are leaving the area, now the schools are threatened, I have to ask myself, why stay here? What does the future hold for “Upstate” NY?
