LISBON — A Lisbon man was arrested after a St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office investigation into allegations of sexual abuse involving a juvenile, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Timothy S. Middlemiss was charged with first-degree sexual abuse, felony; forcible touching, misdemeanor; and endangering the welfare of a child, officers said.
The investigation began after the sheriff’s office received a complaint Sept. 3 from the parent of a juvenile alleging sexual abuse by Middlemiss, deputies said.
Middlemiss was arraigned in Lisbon Town Court before Judge Augustus Burns and held without bail. He was taken to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, officers said.
A no-contact order of protection was issued on behalf of the juvenile, deputies said.
