The Gouverneur police department received a complaint on an accident at the intersection of William Street and South Street. Police arrived and observed the driver to be Ashley Fifield who does not have a valid driver’s license. Upon further investigation it was found that Ashely has 19 scoffs on 5 dates on his New York driver’s license. The defendant was arraigned at the Gouverneur Town Court before Judge Scozzafava and was held at the St. Lawrence County Jail until his return court date.
