The criticism in “Presidential Voting Issues in Potsdam” which appeared in the April 27-May 3 issue of North Country This Week was not deserved! I've been voting in Potsdam for 30 years and never before have seen the crowds of voters like this year. Voters are truly involved this election; that's a good thing, but how can we expect the election workers to plan for this sudden surge? The poll workers were efficient, helpful and courteous! Yes, I had to wait in line for 30 minutes. By the way, if voters are so uninvolved and uniformed that they don't even know their district, how do they cast an intelligent ballot?
