OGDENSBURG -- City police say a 33-year-old man is being held without bail after allegedly kidnapping a victim and injecting her with drugs without her consent.
Police say they investigated a report where he allegedly held a woman in a house at knifepoint for several hours and not allowed to leave. Investigators say Yerdon also injected the woman with an opiate against her consent.
Yerdon is charged with one count each of second-degree kidnapping and criminal injection of a narcotic drug, and three counts of first-degree criminal contempt, all felonies. He is also charged with misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree menacing.
He was arraigned in Ogdensburg City Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in Canton without bail, police said.
Ogdensburg police were assisted by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
