CANTON -- "Start Your Garden Seedlings Indoors," a hands-on workshop from the Sustainable Living Project/Local Living Festival is set for 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 14, led by longtime Birsdfoot Organic Farm coordinator Dulli Tengeler.
Attendees will learn what containers to use for what plants, how to make your own potting soil from compost, how to fill containers, and how to seed different crops.
There is a suggested donation of $10 to $20, sliding scale, $5 for students.
