POTSDAM -- Joseph Chiarenzelli of Potsdam recently received the “Great Dane Award” from the University at Albany.
The university honored more than 80 students and organizations, including Chiarenzelli, at the President's Award for Leadership recognition ceremony April 26.
The awards given recognize undergraduate and graduate students and organizations who have made “significant contributions to enhance the quality of life at the University at Albany,” according to a press release from the school.
Recipients demonstrate a variety of accomplishments, including leadership, service, academic achievement, and involvement within the university community, the release said.
