Potsdam police cite a dozen motorists for driving infractions

POTSDAM — Potsdam police said they charged several motorists with driving infractions Sept. 13, according to village police. Those charged included:

• Nicholas Perry, 35, South Colton, was cited for operating a motor vehicle while using a portable electronic device at 11:33 a.m. on Pierrepont Avenue.

• Tori Keegan, 18, Madrid, was cited for operating a motor vehicle while using a portable electronic device at 12:08 p.m. on Pierrepont Avenue.

• Jennifer Woodward, 46, Potsdam, was cited for driving in center lane improperly on Pierrepont Avenue at 12:22 p.m.

• Caroline Dodd, 26, Saranac Lake, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Cedar and Main streets at 1:42 p.m.

• Jack Donnlly, 19, Livonia, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 1:52 p.m.

• Jessica Taylor, 43, Potsdam, was cited for operating without a seat belt on Market Street at 2:31 p.m.

• Brandon Bostic, 19, Lake City, Fla., was cited for operating without a seat belt on Market Street at 2:49 p.m.

• Trudy Foote, 42, Canton, was cited for speed in zone at 3:08 p.m. on Maple Street after allegedly driving 55 mph in a 30 mph zone.

• Jason Foster, 43, Winthrop, was cited for speed in zone on Maple Street at 3:20 p.m. after allegedly driving 47 mph in a 30 mph zone.

• Patrick Cyrus, 29, Gouverneur, was cited for speed in zone on Sandstone Drive at 3:39 p.m. after allegedly driving 47 mph in a 30 mph zone.

• Lawrence McGory, 61, Potsdam, was cited for operating a motor vehicle while using a mobile phone at 5:12 p.m.

• Angela Olson, 46, Massena was cited for operating a motor vehicle while using a portable electronic device at 5:32 p.m. on Pierrepont Avenue.

All of the above subjects were cited and released.
