POTSDAM – A Potsdam man was arrested for violating an order of protection by writing and sending a letter to the victim.
State police reported that Aidon R. Clothier, 24, was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal contempt.
On Sept. 25, troopers were notified of Clothier violating a complete stay away order of protection that was put in place by the court. The victim received a letter from Clothier which is in violation of the court order.
He was arraigned in the Town of Fowler Court and released to the supervision of the St. Lawrence County Probation Department.
