The clinic will be directed by SUNY Potsdam Head Softball Coach Nicole Yost.
Participants have the opportunity to engage in softball skill development in a college atmosphere. Swing break down, hitting drill circuit, overhand throwing, and ball handling will be covered.
The Bears will also offer a pitching session following the skill work, with basic fundamentals, breakdown of aspects of pitching and teaching drills for mechanic work to be covered.
Parents and coaches are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Participants will also receive a Bears' Softball t-shirt.
Registration is from 9:30-10 a.m. The Session 1 for skills will be from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; and Session 2 for pitching will be from 1:30-2:30 p.m.
The clinic is for girls in grades 5-12. Participants should bring a glove, helmet, catching gear if applicable, and a bat if they own one.
