MASSENA - John Glass, age 84, passed away unexpectedly on October 21, 2026 at Massena Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home, 60 Maple Street, Massena.
John was born on June 14, 1942 in Schoharie, the son of Harold and Edna (Davis) Glass. He attended school in Schoharie and was employed at ALCOA in Massena where he worked in the Pot Room. On March 31, 2000 he married his soulmate Roxanna Tyo. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by his wife, his children; a daughter, Heather Tuscek; a son, John Jr.; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Caleb, Heidi, and Stephen; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Luna, many nieces and nephews. John is predeceased by his parents and a brother
John enjoyed cooking, working outside, going for walks, taking drives the Roxy out to look at the wildlife. He especially loved spending time spoiling his grandchildren.
