POTSDAM -- The St. Lawrence County Arts Council will host a Jazz Improv Workshop with musician Larry Ham Tuesday, March 15 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in Room 230 of Clarkson University’s downtown Snell Hall, 41 Elm St.
Ham began his career with the Lionel Hampton Orchestra. He recently released two critically acclaimed CDs. The class is for all levels of musicians who want to improve their jazz improvisation skills.
Musicians should bring their instruments and voices. Admission is $15 at the door; no advance registration is required.
