Hammond man voting for Constantino on Election Day

That "crazy season" is here again. Yup, it's election time once more. A time when the airwaves are saturated by attack ads calling the other side "dirty scoundrels," "filthy liars," "corrupt rats," or worse. With less than a month to go before the November 3rd general election (you have until Oct. 24th to register if you've moved or are not registered), the rhetoric is heating up, especially in the hotly-contested race for Elise Stefanik's soon-to-be-vacant House of Representatives  seat for New York's 21st  Congressional District.

You could call it a "bout" between "the gentleman farmer from Lisbon" wearing the blue trunks in the Democrat corner, Blake Gendebien, and "the successful entrepreneur from Amsterdam" wearing the red trunks in the Republican corner, Anthony Constantino. It's scheduled to go 15 rounds and voters are hoping to witness an actual "mano a mano" debate of the issues between these two candidates but, as of this writing (Monday, October 5th), only Anthony  Constantino has agreed to a face-to-face exchange as put forth by Albany-area TV station CBS6 (WRGB).

I will withhold comment on what I think of candidates who dodge debates and cut to the chase: I intend to vote for the 21st District congressional candidate that I think will most closely represent the North Country in the manner of Congresswoman Stefanik over the past 10 years. That person is Anthony Constantino. I'm sure Mr. Gendebien is a nice guy but I'm just as sure that the Democrat Party has lost its moral compass with the "D" now standing for many things including death to the unborn, and death to our state and our nation as we know them.

Abortion is still one of the major planks of the Dems and is wholly embraced by those on the Left including New York Governor Kathy Hochul and her administration. My moral compass won't allow me to ever vote for a candidate that far gone, so on November 3rd I will be voting, in person, for Republicans to include Anthony Constantino for Congress and Bruce Blakeman for Governor. I urge all God-fearing voters, who believe in the sanctity of life, to do likewise, and help make New York great again.
