I write to urge St. Lawrence County District 3 voters to vote for Adam Jarrett on Election Day.
I’ve come to know Adam well over the past year, and I have learned that he is smart, hard working, a good listener, and dedicated to serving his community.
Adam’s commitment to hard work will be a welcome addition to the legislature. During his campaign he has knocked on every single door in district 3 to learn about peoples’ concerns and I have confidence he will take every action he can to address those concerns.
Adam believes that the business of local government is to meet the needs of people in St. Lawrence County, and that those needs have almost nothing to do with national Republican vs Democrat debates. The county should, as Adam often says, focus on the county.
Finally let me say that I was a county legislator for seventeen years, representing a district which, at the time, included areas now covered by District 3.
I worked closely with Joe Lightfoot for many of my years on the legislature and I consider him a friend.
That said, I believe that District 3 needs a change - - - a fresh voice, new energy, a renewed commitment to local issues, and hard work. Adam Jarrett will bring that change. Please vote for him on November 3rd.
