My family and I have known St. Lawrence County Legislator Rita Curran for many years. She is an exceptional legislator who is doing an exceptional job representing the residents of District 15.

Rita has helped promote many local small businesses throughout our county and has shown a strong commitment to our community.

Many veterans in the North Country know Rita as a caring nurse practitioner at the VA Medical Center in St. Lawrence County, where she goes above and beyond in caring for our veterans.

As a nurse practitioner and county legislator, Rita has drawn on her experience working in emergency rooms and healthcare clinics throughout the North Country, as well as her work with our rescue squads, county addiction treatment centers, mental health programs, and public health programs.

These experiences have helped her find ways to integrate services with nonprofit agencies to expand and improve care for all St. Lawrence County residents.

Her firsthand experience in healthcare and community services gives her valuable knowledge and perspective that may not be readily available to other candidates seeking to represent St. Lawrence County’s District 15.

Rita is running for St. Lawrence County Legislator for District 15. We need a county legislator who understands the needs of our community and has the experience and dedication to serve its residents.
