PIERREPONT — Pierrepont and Hannawa Falls fire fighters fought a garage fire off Buck Pond Road Thanksgiving Day morning.
According to a report on the Hannawa Falls Fire Department website, that department toned out at 10:09 a.m. with a tanker requested by Pierrepont Fire Department to a working garage fire on Buck Pond Road.
Hannawa responded to the scene with two fire vehicles with crews of 6 and 2 and with two department members in personal vehicles.
Hannawa firefighters helped the Pierrepont firefighters on the scene with knocking down the flames.
Colton, Potsdam, Russell and Canton fire departments also assisted at the scene with additional tankers.
Units were back in service at 11:51 a.m., the Hannawa fire department said.
