POTSDAM — The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce is preparing for Fright Night, one of the community’s most anticipated traditions, on Thursday, October 29, from 5 to 8 p.m.
This free, family-friendly event brings hundreds of families downtown for safe trick-or-treating, activities and Halloween fun.
Fright Night will take place along Market Street and Raymond Street, with additional Trunk-or-Treat stations at the Market Square Mall, 22 Depot St.
The Chamber is seeking local businesses, organizations, clubs and student groups to participate by decorating a trunk, hosting an activity or game, handing out candy at their storefront or sponsoring candy.
There is no fee to participate.
Costume contest check-in will take place from 5 to 6 p.m. at JobsRUs in the Market Square Mall.
Additional activities and entertainment will be announced as details are confirmed.
Registration is open through Friday, October 16, or until all available spaces are filled.
