MALONE – In addition to several music acts, the Franklin County Fair will be holding a first-ever parade, demolition derby and midway rides and games, Aug. 7 through 15, at the fairgrounds, 606 E. Main St.
• Saturday, Aug. 7: Demolition derby, 5 p.m.
• Sunday, Aug. 8: Uncle Kracker, a country-pop-rap artist who recorded the hit single, “Drift Away,” 6:30 p.m.
• Monday, Aug. 9: Demolition derby, 6 p.m.
• Tuesday, Aug. 10: Truck and Tractor Pull, 1 p.m.
• Wednesday, Aug. 11: Terry Lee Goffee, performing The "Ultimate" Tribute to Johnny Cash, 7:30 p.m.
• Thursday, Aug. 12: Rediscovering Our Agricultural Roots parade, 6 p.m.
• Friday, Aug. 13: Edens Edge, a Nashville-based band that performs hook-laden country music, 7 p.m.
• Friday, Aug. 13: Lone Star, that has recorded ten #1 singles, 7:30 p.m.
• Saturday, Aug. 14: Night Ranger, whose hits include “Sister Christian,” 7:30 p.m.
