BUFFALO -- The SUNY Canton women's soccer team received goals from four different players as they downed Cazenovia College 4-2 in the second round of the D'Youville College Labor Day tournament in Buffalo on Sunday.
The Roos improved to 1-2.
SUNY Canton fell behind 1-0 when Vicki Dufort scored 1:45 into the game. Aubrey Parrish (Greene, N.Y.) tied the game less than a minute later when she scored from Danielle DeCelles (Lisbon, N.Y.).
The Roos then broke open the game with three goals in the first five minutes of the second half. Kristen Morley (Ogdensburg, N.Y.), Angie Waryasz (Lowville, N.Y.), and Chelsea Allen (Marcellus, N.Y.) also scored for SUNY Canton.
SUNY Canton out shot the Wildcats 16-6 and held a 5-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Ricci Celia (Essex Junction, Vt.) notched two saves to earn her first win with SUNY Canton.
Megan McDermott also scored for Cazenovia and Nalia Bouley and Brittany Wescott combined to make seven saves.
