Junior Conor Healey and senior Jack Roberts led the St. Lawrence University men's lacrosse team as Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) First-Team All-Region selections this week. Senior Ryan Fisher made the second team, and senior Jeremy Vautour was an honorable mention selection.
The Saints finished with an 18-3 record in 2016, advancing to the semifinal round of the NCAA tournament with wins over New England College, Springfield College and Amherst College before falling to Tufts University.
Healey led the Saints with 95 points and 46 assists, while Roberts was second on the team with 31 caused turnovers and third on the squad with 61 ground balls. Fisher set St. Lawrence season records for wins (18) and minutes played (1,062), while Vautour led the Saints with a school-record 64 goals, including nine game-winning goals.
One hundred ninety five student-athletes were named to the inaugural IMLCA Division III All-Region teams. The All-Region teams were identified based on all-conference teams associated with conferences sponsoring lacrosse.
