POTSDAM – Five people were arrested for trespassing early Sunday after village police discovered them inside one of Clarkson University’s vacant downtown buildings.
Police responded after being alerted by Clarkson security personnel.
Charged with criminal trespassing at 2:47 a.m. were Jenna L. Farwell, 20, Oxford, Kathleen A. McFadden, 19, Saratoga Springs, Brandon M. Lennox, 18, Bethel, David E. Revette, 21, Deruyter, and Mathieu W. Bemis, 20, Mount Vernon, police said.
Bemis was also cited for unlawful possession of marijuana.
Congdon, located behind Snell Hall downtown, most recently functioned as a dormitory until students were moved out of the building in 2006.
The four are to fact the charges in Potsdam Village Court on Nov. 10.
