OGDENSBURG -- An Oct. 8 roast beef dinner will raise money for the Sheila Gwin Dictionary Program, which provides a dictionary to each third grader in Ogdensburg, Hammond, Morristown, Heuvelton and Lisbon central schools.
The meal will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Ogdensburg Elks Lodge, 332 Caroline St.
It includes roast beef, mashed potatoes, vegetable and dessert.
Cost is $10.
People can eat in or take out.

Gwin was a kindergarten teacher at Lincoln Elementary School who often volunteered with the Elks until her death.
