The St. Lawrence County District 12 race remains too close to call.

With unofficial early results in Democrat Patrick Brady leads Republican Marty Blair by four votes, but not all votes are tallied.

Democratic Elections Commissioner Jennie Bacon at least 54 votes remain uncounted and won't be tallied until next week. She said it's possible there are additional outstanding ballots as well.

Of the 54, 22 are from registered Democrats, 11 from Republicans, 18 Blanks and two others.

Given the number, the race remains in play and won't likely have a winner declared until next week.

In District 11, incumbent Republican Glenn Webster was upset by Democrat Amber Spinner by a margin of 1,312 to 1,208.

Bacon said there are a number of outstanding votes in that race too, but it's unlikely there will be enough to change the outcome.

Republican incumbent Rick Perkins retained his seat in District 7, squeaking past DemocratGinger Storey-Welch by a margin of 1,828 to 1,457.

In District 8, incumbent Republican Allan Robinson retained the seat he was appointed to in May, defeating Democrat Paula Sturge by a margin of 1,425 to 1,301.

In District 13, Republican Terry Goodrich defeated Democrat Setcher Krywanczyk by a margin of 1,534 to 695.

Goodrich was recently appointed to the board following the resignation of Republican John Gennett, who took a job out of state. Gennett remains in the district and will travel for work.

In District 3, Republican incumbent Joseph Lightfoot defeated Democratic challenger Adam Jarret by a margin of 1,566 to 1,068.

In District 5, a three-way race saw Republican Troy Besaw defeat Democrat Daniel Horton and incumbent Harry Smithers who is running on the Common Sense party line.

Besaw secured 1,083, while Horton secured 423 and Smithers garnered just 151 votes.

Republican incumbent Rita Curran secured victory for the third time to represent District 15, winning by a margin of 1,630 to 1,150.

Running unopposed were Republican Legislators Jim Reagen in District 1, David Forsythe in District 2, William Sheridan in District 4, Larry Denesha in District 6, along with Democratic incumbents Anthony Levato in District 9 and Margaret Haggard in District 10.

Newcomer Adrian Taraska, a Republican secured victory in District 14 after running unopposed to represent the village of Massena.

District 14 is currently represented by Democrat Nicole Terminelli, who secured victory to the Massena village board.
