AKWESASNE -- An Akwesasne man was charged July 13 after a high-speed police chase that officials say reached speeds of nearly 100 mph.
Rahsontanohstha Delormier, 23, of Akwesasne, N.Y. was charged with unlawful fleeing of a police officer, reckless driving, failure to use designated lane, fail to disobey traffic control device and three speeding citations, allegedly 75 mph in a 35 mph zone, 80 mph in a 45 mph zone and 98 mph in a 55 mph zone, police said.
He was released with tickets for Bombay Town Court on July 24, police said.
