All monies raised stay right here in St. Lawrence county to benefit St. Lawrence county residents who are battling cancer. Last year, approximately $60,000 was raised and awarded to programs that educate the community with the prevention, early detection and diagnosis of cancer. 2022 beneficiaries included Ryan’s Wish Foundation, Gouverneur; Center for Cancer Care at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam; Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley; Massena Hospital; Claxton-Hepburn Richard E. Winter Cancer Center, Ogdensburg; and Gouverneur Hospital.

With these needed funds grant recipients were able to purchase a new exam table, continue to provide transportation to cancer treatment appointments, provide free cancer screenings, give financial support to individuals and provide Advanced Illness Management services (AIM) to those in need.

The SLCCF goal is to raise $75,000 to benefit the St. Lawrence County Cancer Fund through donations obtained by runners and walkers who are asked to raise a minimum of $35. There will be a basket raffle held at the event with prizes donated by our generous local businesses. Tickets available at registration.
