CANTON -- Tai-chi exercise class at the Yoga Loft will run from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursdays starting Jan. 17.
Participants will learn the principles of tai chi and practice a series of short, gentle, flowing exercises focusing on different parts of the body. The exercise class is open to everyone and drop-ins are welcome. Teacher is Ann Heidenreich.
She will also lead a beginner's class for students wishing to learn the Yang-style short form Tuesday evenings from 7 to 8 p.m. starting Jan. 15. Students will learn the principles of tai-chi ch’uan and the postures and transitions of the first section of the Yang-style short form.
