CANTON -- The Local Living Venture will host a hands-on workshop on starting garden seedlings indoors Saturday, April 13 at 11 a.m.
A second workshop may be offered at 2 p.m.
The workshops will be led by Birdsfoot Organic Farm coordinator Dulli Tengeler. Participants will learn what containers to use, how to make potting soil, how to seed crops and how to transplant vegetables and herbs.
The suggested donation is $15 or $5 for students. Students will receive seedlings to take home. The workshop is sponsored by the Potsdam Agway. For the exact location RSVP to 347-4223 or SustLivingProject@gmail.com.
