MASSENA -- The New York Power Authority (NYPA) will hold a free Wildlife Festival that will feature live animals, nature displays, arts, crafts and entertainment.
There will be a petting zoo with farm animals, chainsaw carving demonstrations, wagon rides, craft projects and movies.
It is slated for Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hawkins Point Visitors Center.
WOWEE, the World of Wildlife and Educational Encounters will bring with a variety of exotic and endangered animals.
Volunteers will present two shows at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. and will answer audience questions.
Representatives from Reptiles Forever will showcase a variety of insects and reptiles, including a python and a 50-pound turtle.
Birds of prey will be on display.
