OGDENSBURG -- Mark and Dianne Webster recently donated to the Richard E. Winter Cancer Treatment Center’s expansion project. The gift financed the room housing the new multifunctional Varian Trilogy Linear Accelerator to be dedicated in honor of Webster’s sister, Karen Heider Ruda.
She died last year shortly after being diagnosed with lung cancer. The Websters were presented with a representation of the plaque dedicating the new LINAC room at the open house celebrating the new treatment center wing of the and the 20th anniversary of the cancer center.
