I find it very troubling when fisherman like one pictured on the front page of the Feb. 4-10 edition of North Country This Week, find it necessary to kill two large breeder walleyes so he could get his picture in the paper. Why not take a picture at the river and release the fish alive. Any good fisherman knows these big walleyes are not that great to eat. They are of more value as breeders for future walleyes in the St. Lawrence River.
