CANTON - The Village of Canton is applying to the Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CDBG CARES) Act for funds to create the Canton CARES Small Business Grant Program.
To prepare a successful application, the Village is looking for input from businesses to demonstrate the need for funding.
If your business could benefit from this grant program, please go to https://cantonny.gov/grant-program-for-small-business-being-developed-in-canton/ and complete the brief survey or contact Leigh Rodriguez at the Canton Office of Community Economic Development at (315) 386-2871 #5, or lrodriguez@cantonny.gov prior to Tuesday, Sept. 27 by 4 p.m.
Businesses interested in participating must be prepared to show how COVID-19 has negatively impacted their business, and demonstrate economic hardship. Reimbursement can be requested for costs dating back to Jan. 21, 2020.
