Veterans and their families and friends are invited to two events in Ogdensburg and Morristown.
On Nov. 11 at 9 a.m., there will be a Veteran’s Day prayer service at the Vietnam Moving Wall Monument in the Ogdensburg Green Belt. There will be prayers and a roll call of the 36 St. Lawrence County men who died fighting in the Vietnam War. It will conclude with a wreath-laying and group salute.
On Nov. 13 in Morristown at 9:30 a.m., there will be a community-wide veterans appreciation and remembrance Mass at Christ Church, Main Street. A “red-white-blue” reception will follow at the parish hall. People can bring a framed picture of a veteran to be displayed on a table of honor.
