OGDENSBURG -- A handmade bench painted with rainbow colors to represent support for the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community was destroyed by fire at the Presbyterian Church.
The vamdalism was discovered early Monday and Ogdensburg firefighters were called.
The bench was made by Don Kerr and Donna Maloney.
Kerr and Maloney reportedly plan to make a new bench to replace the one vandalized.
