I travel a lot for work, and I am shocked that each day at dusk to dark, I encounter several cars that are driving without their headlights on. I nearly rear-ended a vehicle the other night because they were driving without lights, oncoming traffic is just as bad. I wish people would use some common sense and when it gets to be 4 in the afternoon, turn your lights on, you might just safe a life and it could be your own. I also wish people obeyed the traffic law that states you need to drive with lights on when it is snowing or raining, again, I encounter several cars in both situations with no head lamps. It is a wonder that there aren't more accidents, I think it is because there are good defensive drivers like myself, not like people who drive without lights, use your heads people!
