Problems with phone lines at Massena and Potsdam police departments, as well as Potsdam Fire Department and village offices, appear to be resolved, according to officials in both villages.
The problem was discovered early Monday morning and is believed to have been connected to an interruption of Slic services between Syracuse and the North Country.
Officials in Massena were reporting that people trying to call police were getting busy signals, but that should now be resolved.
