RUSSELL -- The Russell Theatre, 4 Pestle St., has two concerts slated for June.
Steelin Country will perform on June 2, at 7 p.m.; and Country Living Entertainment, with singer Larry Ebere, will pay June 24, at 7 p.m.
The Lisbon-based Steelin Country consists of Kirk Robinson on pedal steel guitar, Michelle Bresett on guitar and vocals and Dale Streeter on bass and vocals. The band plays what they call "real country" music from the past, along with several original compositions.
Donations will be taken at the door for admission.
Chazy’s Larry Ebere, performing as Country Living Entertainment, has played music since he was a child. He currently performs across the northeast, with a repertoire of nearly 100 songs consisting of classic country, country rock, and new country selections spanning six decades.
Admission to the June 24 show is by donation also, with proceeds benefitting the Veterans Assistance Program.
Light refreshments will be served at both shows and a 50/50 raffle will be held.
