MACOMB – Two people were left homeless Wednesday afternoon at 2333 County Route 10 after a single-wide mobile home caught fire, according to St. Lawrence County Fire Investigators.
Heuvelton firefighters and Gouverneur rescue responded to the fire at 4:26 p.m. with mutual aid provided from firefighters from Gouverneur and Oxbox, investigators said.
Fire officials said the structure was a total loss and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
The home was reportedly owned and occupied by Bruce and Pauline House.
National Grid and the American Red Cross were called to the scene, investigators said.
There home was reportedly insured.
