OGDENSBURG -- Canton-based state police say they charged a woman with multiple felony charges Sunday morning after an investigation of prison contraband.
Amanda L. Smith, 30, Webster, was charged with first-degree introducing dangerous contraband to prison and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, troopers said.
She was charged at 11:54 a.m. at the Ogdensburg Correctional Facility, 1 Correction Way, officers said.
Police listed her status as held.
