POTSDAM — Trillium Wellness Center has added acupuncture to their healing arts services. Potsdam native Talia Foster has opened her acupuncture practice and is seeing clients at Trillium.
Foster earned master degrees in acupuncture and oriental medicine at the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, part of the New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls.
In addition, Foster earned a bachelor’s degree in professional studies form the New York Chiropractic College.
Acupuncture can treat many different conditions and ailments. Foster is trained in both Japanese and Chinese styles of acupuncture, facial acupuncture, Qi Gong, Tui Nu, cupping, Gua Sha, nutrition, and herbal therapies.
She will select the acupuncture style and complementary techniques for her patients based on each individual's needs.
