Outrageous! Whose bright idea was it to change from stickers to special bags? Why weren’t the people who live in the village asked what we wanted. Taxes go up, gas goes up, food prices go up along with just about everything else. People are on fixed income, unemployment, not working and have no money coming in. In my opinion Casella is double dipping, we pay for garbage pickup and have to pay for stickers and now bags that Casella is getting money for. Why wasn’t there a meeting to where the people in Potsdam could vote on it? It seems to me that the village of Potsdam does what they want and don’t care about the people who live here. No wonder no one wants to live in the village. Wake up and help us. We pay your salaries, so you work for us, and we should have a say. Why not just increase the price of the quarterly bill instead of making us do all these crazy things with bags and stickers.
