POTSDAM -- State police seek the public’s assistance in finding three people in the above photos who they say are accused of shoplifting.
On June 29 around 4:40 pm, three unidentified people, a white male, and two white females, stole a variety of merchandise from the Potsdam Wal-Mart, located U.S. Route 11. Video surveillance captured the three exiting through the grocery side doors without paying for the merchandise in their two carts, police allege.
The male suspect was wearing a black baseball cap, a short-sleeve blue shirt, jeans, tan work boots, a mask, and he had a tattoo on his left forearm, troopers said.
The first female suspect wore a pink camouflage hoodie, patterned leggings, a mask, and had long dark hair, troopers said.
The second female suspect was wearing a black and pink floral blouse with capri-length leggings and she had lighter-colored long wavy hair, troopers said.
The trio loaded the stolen merchandise into a white SUV, possibly an older model Chevrolet Equinox, and left Wal-Mart heading toward the village of Potsdam, police said.
Troopers ask anyone with information to contact Trooper Dennis Klyuzov at (518) 873-2776.
