POTSDAM -- Isaac Snell will teach beginners wheel thrown pottery classes beginning on March 5 at Downtown Snell Hall, 41 Elm St., room 229.
All three spring sessions will be held Wednesdays from 6 to 9 p.m.
Sessions include March 5, 12, and 19; March 26, April 2 and 9; April 23, 30, and May 7.
The cost per session is $115, materials included.
Classes are for anyone 14 years of age or older who has fewer than 20 hours of pottery experience. Classes teach all of the steps of throwing on a wheel including wedging and centering clay on the wheel, throwing, trimming, and attaching handles.
Snell glazes and fires several pieces of pottery per student, which can be picked up a few weeks after classes end.
