CANTON -- The final fundraising event for the E.J. Noble Guild of Canton-Potsdam Hospital will be held Sunday, Nov. 20.
The merger between the Potsdam Hospital Guild and the E.J. Noble Guild is scheduled to be official in January.
A Tea and Fashion Show takes place at SUNY Canton's Miller Campus Center at 1 p.m. Tickets are $25. At the luncheon assorted tea sandwiches, wheat berry salad, sliced fruit, assorted desserts will be served and beverages will include coffee, tea and fruit/sherbet punch.
Businesses highlighting their latest fashions are Luna from Canton, Hailey Hodge proprietor; Potsdam's Eternity Bridal Boutique (formerly the Carolee Shop) Jackie Green proprietor and the two Maurice stores from Ogdensburg and Massena.
There will be door prizes which include gift baskets from White Flowers and Valerie Ann Visser's Boudoir Photography.
As a parting gift there will be E.J. Noble Guild cookbooks for those who would like one. There will also be a display of memorabilia from the Guilds' past.
Formed in 1951, the Guild as been part of the Canton community for 65 years as an organization and as a supporting auxiliary of Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
