CANTON -- SUNY Potsdam President Kristin G. Esterberg will be a pulpit guest speaker at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Canton, 3 ½ East Main St. on Sunday, March 20.
Esterberg's sermon is "Coming Home and Maintaining Hope in Times of Turmoil."
Her most recent book (with co-author John Wooding) is “Divided Conversations: Identity, Leadership, and Change in Public Higher Education” (Vanderbilt University Press 2013).

Esterberg was hired as the school’s 16th president in 2014. Prior to her appointment, she worked as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Salem State, and deputy provost and associate provost at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. She is the author of three books and numerous articles and publications on qualitative research methodology, gender, and sexuality.
