COLTON — Sunday Rock Legacy is preparing to produce “GRASS” this July and auditions will take place soon.
This is a new musical with music by Marty Lipowitz and written by Elaine Kuracina.
It tells the story of '70s hippies who left New Jersey and came to the North Country to start a commune - back to the land movement.
“It is a perfect musical for these times,” said Kuracina.. “Survival. Hope. Renewal.”

Sunday Rock Legacy is a blend of the Colton Historical Society, the Colton/Pierrepont School, the Grasse River Players that puts on summer musicals for the community.
