Well, once again it is summer and we can look forward to the endless nonsense that goes on. A great number of folks seem to think that the law does not apply to them. Try driving on our roads and you will see many golf carts, UTVs, four wheelers and such being driven illegally. The orange triangle does not make them legal! These are driven right down the driving lane. And, don’t even think about taking a quiet, enjoyable boat ride because you will see every boating and navigation law broken. How a tragedy has not happened on the water is beyond me! Then, we approach July 4. Now, we can listen to fireworks every night for a week before, and, a week after the holiday, sometimes longer...all hours of the night, every night! Where are the local police agencies to enforce these laws?
