GOUVERNEUR – All 4th and 5th Grade Gouverneur area students--private, public, and home schooled--are invited to submit an original piece of artwork depicting their “Favorite Season in Gouverneur” such as, sledding at Hopper’s Hill, swimming at Sylvia Lake, or ball games at Riverview Park.
Students choose the medium.
Students should submit their work with a brief description, their name, and contact information to the Gouverneur Reading Room by Saturday, Feb. 5, no later than noon.
Prizes will be awarded. Art will be judged by members of the Gouverneur Arts Club.
A reception will be held on Saturday, Feb. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Gouverneur Reading Room, 60 Church St.
