POTSDAM, N.Y.—Maddie St. Pierre of Heuvelton and Mike Graney of Ticonderoga (pictured with Bears women's coach Tara Ruckh and men's coach Sherry Dobbs) have been selected as the Caleb Snyder Award recipients for of the 43nd annual SUNY Potsdam Basketball Camp.
St. Pierre was the recipient of the Snyder Award for Outstanding Girl Camper, while Graney was honored for the boys. The duo was selected from a group of over 300 campers.
The week-long overnight camp, founded by legendary Bears Coach Jerry Welsh, hosts campers from the U.S. and Canada, ranging in ages from 8-18. Campers develop their playing skills through group and individual instruction from a talented group of top college and high school coaches, including the ever-present Welsh.
